Sommelier, Stefanie Gould of Southern Glazer’s Wine.
On the table: Roasted Polenta Fries Drizzled with Balsamic, garnished with Tomato Chutney
Wine pairing: Spanish Cava (sparkling wine yet to be determined)
1st Course: King Prawns (with the head on), Fennel and Pernod broth with
Tarragon and Marinated Feta
Wine pairing: JJ Vincent, Bourgogne Blanc
2nd Course: Seared Scallops with Chili Jam and Pickled Daikon, Radish and Apple salad
Wine pairing: Von Duzer, Dry Riesling
3rd Course: Roasted Duck, Hazelnut Beer Butter & Red quinoa with micro greens
Wine pairing: Quivera, Grenache
4th Course: Smoked Lamb Lollipops, Eggplant Puree, Jalapeno Sauce and Kohlrabi Pickle
Wine pairing: Casa Lapostolle, Carmenere
5th Course: Dessert – Blood Orange Crème and Dark Chocolate Mouse in a snifter
with a brandy ginger snap
Wine pairing: Late Harvest Gewurztraminer or similar

Professionally Hosted Tastings and Dinners
During the winter months, Mykel's offers professionally hosted tastings and dinners in our banquet area downstairs. The Tastings feature an extensive appetizer buffet along with a professional wine, beer or liquor representative to guide you through five or so of their featured beverages. The Dinners are 5-course meals, with each course perfectly paired to a wine or beer chosen by the distributor and the Mykel's culinary team. Both tastings and dinners are fun events designed to experiment with new flavors, gather a little information, and have a great time with friends! On the first Wednesday of every month (except July) you can enjoy "Wine Wednesday"! This is a self-guided wine tasting paired with an appetizer trio. A sheet will guide you through the three different wine selections and describe each of the three appetizer flavors, then you mix and match to find your favorite pairing! A great way to explore multiple flavors at a reasonable cost. 3 wine samples and appetizer trio - $26
Thursdays Local's Nights - January - May
Local's night is a big hit! Every Thursday from the beginning of January through the end of May from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The local's menu is up to 50% off select entrees and appetizers. Meet with friends and catch up on the latest in our community! Local's night also features live music by local artists.
